The hygienist will do an initial oral hygiene assessment using special instruments and locate areas of plaque and tartar build-up. They will then score your overall gum health before giving you a thorough professional dental cleaning. They will then give your teeth a polish by removing superficial stains. Finally, your hygienist will give you a tailored individual advice plan on how to best maintain oral health from diet to oral hygiene practices.
